Bank of Khartoum (BOK) is Sudan’s leading and largest Islamic Bank, offering its customers a full range of innovative financial products and services. The other institutional shareholders are also pioneers in regional Islamic banking and include Islamic Development Bank; Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank; Sharjah Islamic Bank; Etisalat and local and regional investors.
BOK offers services to Corporate, Retail, SME, Microfinance and Investment Business Segments. It also owns various subsidiaries in Trade, Exchange, Brokerage, and Commercial Real Estate (WAHA – biggest mall in Sudan). The equity of the bank as of December 2014 is SDG 860 million (approximately USD 138 Million USD and USD Billon USD balance sheet). Headquartered in Khartoum, BOK has 1400 employees.
BOK is the pioneer of true Retail banking in Sudan. It is by far, the market leader, with the largest and most cohesive range of products and services and ever expanding, delivery channel network which includes 100 branches / Cash Offices and the largest ATM and CDM network and only bank to have over 200 ATMs / CDMs.
