GIFA AWARDS BANK OF KHARTOUM TWO PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS IN 2019

Bank of Khartoum won the award of “Most Innovative Islamic Bank 2019” for 3rd year in a row for its continuous aim towards innovation, enhancement and digitization in its products and services for their clients, in addition to the continuous pursuit of improving their customer experience.  The Award was granted by GIFA (Global Islamic Finance Awards) the prestigious event was held on 16th September 2019 in Cape Town, South Africa.

Speaking at the occasion, Kashif Naeem, Acting CEO Bank of Khartoum said “We are honored to be part of GIFA 2019 and in receipt of award for the 3^rd connective year!  BOK has been proactive with its digitization strategy. On the same event Mr. Kashif Naeem received the prestigious award of “Emerging Leader in Islamic Finance” – GIFA 2019. Event was attended by Ministers, Governor and other high profile dignitaries, winners came from across the globe to celebrate USD 2.6 trillion of global Islamic financial services industry. His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, was installed as 9^th GIFA Laureate on the occasion.
